The research finding

Harlen's review of teachers' summative assessment found that moderation through professional collaboration helps teaching and assessment, and that reliable assessment needs time for teachers to meet. The same review found bias in teachers' judgements, and said more research is needed on whether moderation procedures work.

What it can't say

It cannot say that one joint MYP and DP cycle will bring scripts within one band. The studies are of school students aged 4 to 18, not this school's standardisation.
